The Tides Hotel Boracay

Hello! I'm back after a long hiatus. Been to some exciting places and suddenly felt the need to give back. Life is a gift and it offers us the privilege, opportunity and responsibility to give something back by becoming more.

Annually for the past 8 years, I was particularly biased towards my choice of Boracay accommodations. Number one rule? should be situated towards the finest pristine white sand beachfront on Boat Station 1. Not until I've laid eyes on this fresh and equally exceptional hotel.

Right smacked at the middle of the crowded D' Mall, Boat Station 2 comes a breath of fresh air! This plush and uniquely themed hotel (with witty wall sayings to boot!) surely made me a convert. Call it a change of heart then.

At the 4th floor is the Solstice Sun lounge, The Tide Hotel's chic sundeck bar and cafe perfect for chilling, lounging at the cabanas or plainly catching the sunset from a different view away from the usual crowd.

When the sun sets, let the night seduce you and dance away. Drown to the beat care of their in-house ( or on special occasions, guest international) DJs. Grab some cocktails and merry mixes. Party heaven, indeed!

It also houses an outdoor pool, should you feel like staying in after basking all day long at the beach.

Another noteworthy point is Ka-on, the hotel's in-house restaurant located at the roof deck. Savor Chef Fernando Aracama's mouthwatering Filipino inspired dishes.
