Moon Garden, Tagaytay

Huts on a Lily Pond?
Hey! that's something fresh, new and refreshing!
Can you spell total nature immersion?
Would you like to be here, too?

This is still part of my birthday series. Am officially on a one week vacation leave. With this precious time, I wanna get-away from the bustling city and just indulge my senses in a serene tucked away place. Some place calm, tranquil and secluded.

Top: Galaxy Print from Superb by Supersale bazaar Shorts by: Primadonna Flats: Reva
Necklace: Rikke by Bubbles

Here's my OOTD

This is a balinese inspired setting set in a lush pineapple plantation

This is the beautiful breakfast spread that I woke up to after a night's rest at the casita.

Fresh menu is sourced straight from their own livestock and organic vegetable farm.

Longganisa Filipino Style with omelette, pickles, and garlic fried rice

Crispy Paksiw na Bilong Bilong Filipino Style with
omelette, pickles, and garlic fried rice

These glass fishes are way cute!

She seemed to be staring at my flats! (tee-hee)

Curtain shots!

This place was originally intended for big wedding receptions and the like. The Moon Garden can easily seat 200 guests with parking accomodation for 60 cars! (that's a lot!)

This is the facade of the charming casita
( fyi: they only have eight!)

A comfy king-size bed which promises a good night's sleep. Ventilated only by a ceiling fan. (Eeek! NO aircon? Yes! that's part of total nature immersion)

Old furnitures and fixtures add drama to the place

The bathroom is tucked behind the wall that serves as the beds headboard. Open passages ( NO Doors) are covered by muslin curtains. I highly appreciate that they have modern facilities like hot & cold showers, bidet, his and hers sink. Applause for that!

This is a screened wall that overlooks a small private garden. You don't need your downloaded soothing nature sounds on itunes or Appstore. You've got live birds chirping! (Tee-hee)

I booked an overnight stay from my trusty agoda.com
A night's stay with complimentary breakfast for 2 costs Php3,000.
