IHOP PH (International House of Pancakes) BGC

IHOP (International House of Pancakes) an iconic brand in the U.S. breakfast scene for the past 55 years has finally arrived in manila!

Breakfast Sampler Php395: Two eggs, hash browns, two bacon strips, two pork sausage links and two pieces of ham. Served with two buttermilk pancakes.

What's even nicer is that you can upgrade these two buttermilk pancakes to any of their signature pancake flavors for just an additional Php50! (Great!)

We had ours upgraded to Chocolate Chocolate Chip Pancakes. Two rich, chocolate batter pancakes filled with chocolate chips and topped with powdered sugar and whipped topping.

Spinach & Mushroom Omelette Php 265. Fresh spinach, mushrooms, onions and Swiss cheese rolled in a fluffy omelette. Topped with rich hollandaise sauce and diced tomatoes.

Pancake was upgraded to Double Blueberry. Two buttermilk pancakes filled with blueberries and topped with warm blueberry compote and whipped topping.

Drizzle these unlimited syrups to your heart's content! There's old-fashioned Maple syrup, Blueberry, Butter Pecan and Strawberry.

Simple and Fit Grilled Balsamic-Glazed Chicken Php335. A grilled tender boneless chicken breast topped with sauteed mushrooms, diced tomatoes and a balsamic glaze. Served with  a side of steamed broccoli and a house salad with reduced-fat Italian dressing.

(From L-R) Tropical Island Twist Php175 - A blend of lemonade, lemon-lime soda and tropical mango syrup.  Soda, Splashberry Php175 - A blend of IHOP's juicy red strawberries, lemon-lime soda and premium orange juice.

For coffee lovers, there's the Never Empty Coffee Pot Php125. But I like my breakfast with a refreshing, Freshly Brewed Iced Tea Php95. And oh, free refills!

I'd like to share a quick trivia too! IHOP definitely knows how to charm the Asian heart! To the Philippines branch, they made a unique conscious effort to add our main staple food: rice!

IHOP also plans to expand to 50 branches in the next five years, as well as to distribute the All-Day Breakfast scene to the rest of Asia.

Everyone has been bitten by the IHOP craze! Be prepared to partiently wait for your turn, as crowd gets to be really outrageous! I was a witness to this. Even at the wee hours of the evening, people are still lining up in brekky mode.

  15. Cool article! It really made me hungry. And @P395, it is similar to pricing here in the US. We have 2 nearby IHOPs, but I want to try the one @BGC when I visit Pinas.
