 I headed to Cebu for a quick 24-hour staycation with no particular hotel in mind. All I needed was a comfy bed and a place near SM Mall, Ayala Business Park and IT Park.  Upon landing at  Mactan Cebu International Airport at 9am, I turned on my mobile and started searching hotels via the ever trusty and reliable Agoda. 

First on the list was the Radisson Blu. I could have instantly booked via Agoda right then and there, but I was pressed for time and needed instant confirmation right away. I directly called up reservations, inquired for room availability  special preference: early-check-in and interline discount/industry rate.

To my delight, all my requests were granted!  At 9am, they can already accommodate me for early check-in. To avail of the industry rates, one should have booked in advanced. The reservations officer gladly offered me the local residents rate instead. So cool!  The rate comes with complimentary buffet breakfast.

After a quick 30 mins drive from the airport, I came home to this gorgeous hotel! look at the grandiose lobby and staircase! Check-in was a breeze. 

A Club Carlson card was handed to me. It was a loyalty rewards card that provides special member-only benefits.  Its 100-percent Guest Satisfaction Guarantee is the hotel’s mantra for guests at every touch point from arrival to departure.

Incredibly plush comfortable sheets!  Indulge in a memory foam bed with goose feather pillows and a down-filled duvet. Radisson Blu truly knows how to spoil its weary guests!

The spacious deluxe room is approximately 61 m² Amenities include a spacious work area, an in-room safe, a 37-inch LCD television with cable and a well-stocked mini bar.

I was pleasantly surprised to see an iPod® docking entertainment system.  I could succumbed to iTunes all day long!

 I just love the convenience of having  modern bathrooms with 2 way mirrors! It makes makeup application easy peasy.

And the renowned Feria Super Buffet Breakfast is the most memorable part of my staycation. In my opinion, this is the most extensive buffet breakfast ever!  The word Feria is a Latin word for Feast day. And true to its word, Feria serves a gastronomic feast of pure succulent delight.



A number of interactive stations to get your breakfast specifically made just the way you like it.  There’s Asian, Japanese and cold seafood, International, Mediterranean, and dessert.
