Crimson Resort and Spa Mactan

When the gorgeous Queen of Talk, Kris Aquino featured this new resort on Kris TV (Aired March 22-23) I was awed by the picturesque resort and was an eager beaver to try this place! 

Thankfully my work schedule permitted it! And last month, with 2 of my travel BFFs, we conquered Crimson Resort & Spa! (Tee-hee)

Beach enthusiasts will surely find delight in this sprawling 6 hectare resort. 

Choose from an array of available water sports activities: jet-ski, wakeboarding, knee boarding, kayak, hobie cat, banana boat, parasailing, snorkeling, speed boat tours, diving, sea walker adventure.

.....or simply find delight in catching up on your  readings, e-zines, blogs.

Call me an avid fan of these merely 15min-away-from-the-airport resorts just like those of Shangri-La, Imperial Palace Water Park, Plantation Bay. 

As you bask in the sun, the Azure beach bar (one of the four restaurants in the resort) offers thirst quenchers and refreshments.

Sip a glass of chilled watermelon shake in these CHAISE lounges built for two. Plus points for these part-couch, part chair chaise lounges! So elegantly stylish and comfy!

The resort boasts of an infinity pool that plunges into the ocean.

It also features beautiful landscaped gardens with a touch of Balinese and Contemporary Asian structures and designs.

Are you bringing the kids? Don't fret! The CrimZone is an activity center for the little tots. It has slides, toys and other engagingly fun activities.

For guests availing of the Day Use, you get to enjoy: 

• Lunch buffet at Saffron Cafe (Still working on my separate blog entry on this)
• Use of the hotel facilities (Multi-level Infinity Pool, Fitness Center and Crimzone) Kids 0-8 years old is free of charge; 9-11 years old is subject for 50% charge; Above 11 years old full charge applies
• Lockers in separate female/male changing and sauna room

Rate is P1,800 for wekends, P1500 for weekdays. Prior reservation is required.

The resort has 250 suites and deluxe rooms each with a balcony overlooking the lush gardens, 40 marvelous private villas with a breathtaking view of the ocean and close access to the pristine beach. You want more?! These villas provide you with occasional dips to your own plunge pools! 

We were aiming for a night's stay here. But the inter liner rate (for airline employees) for my selected date is currently unavailable. I would have loved to stay here! 


I shall return! Am thinking of bringing my family along.
